The affectionate nature of the minihorses makes them perfect for developing courage between young people and animals.
They also are a great way to gain confidence with horsemanship without the risks of a larger horse.
Minihorses cannot be ridden but in-hand work, grooming, leading, obstacle courses are the different aspects to engage in alongside building connection and rapport.
Days you can book are Tuesdays and Thursdays during the school term. 3.30-5.30pm
Fun you can do in the two hours: spend time with your pal, animals have an ability to make all your cares disappear, you can groom, plait the mane and tail, put ribbons in their hair, put a halter on and lead in the paddock or go for a walk round the grounds, have a picnic with your pal, inhand work, obstacle courses (extra training session for this). Give your pal a treat. Chat and cuddle them. Just to remind you, you cannot ride the minihorses.
